ATLASSIAN
Working within the Enterprise Trust and Regulated Industries team, I designed and delivered research-led solutions across internal admin tools and admin-facing features. Spanning four key initiatives, my work supported enterprise customers in meeting their compliance requirements and enabled broader adoption of Atlassian’s cloud platform by aligning with global regulatory standards—contributing to the company’s accelerated enterprise cloud growth since late 2022.
The PROBLEM
During my time at Atlassian, I worked on internal and admin systems as part of the Enterprise Trust and Regulated Industries team. I owned the design and delivery of four features across internal tools and customer-facing interfaces, contributing to three key enterprise initiatives.
This work directly supported Atlassian’s “Back to 50” initiative—a company-wide push to shift 50% of customers from server-based products to cloud—by enabling highly regulated enterprises to migrate with confidence. Through a combination of improved compliance tooling, auditability, and admin workflows, we helped unlock broader cloud adoption for customers in finance, government, and healthcare. This was more than just a technical migration—it was a key business growth lever.
For organizations migrating to Atlassian Cloud Enterprise, a Forrester report showed a 230% ROI and $3.5M in benefits over three years, with a six-month payback period. These customer migrations contributed to Atlassian’s ~25–30% year-over-year cloud revenue growth and expanded its base of large enterprise accounts.By aligning user needs with business priorities, our team helped reduce barriers to adoption, accelerate platform uptake, and ensure that cloud solutions met the standards of even the most tightly regulated industries.
